Here is everything you need to know about Miss Cosmo Beauty Pageant

Miss Cosmo is a new international beauty pageant. It is holding its first edition this year, from September 15 to October 5. The venue is Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

62 candidates are participating in this inaugural edition, although the organization announced in mid-August that there were 82 franchisees. The requirements that the organization demanded are: to be between 18 and 30 years of age; to be a legal citizen of the country they represent; to be single and without children; to have no criminal record; and finally, transgender people legally recognized as women can participate.

The Prize

The main prize for the winner will be one hundred thousand dollars and a one-year stay in a luxury apartment in Vietnam. In addition, she will receive prizes from sponsors and other goods and products that will increase the profit to one million dollars.

In the selection system, the organization will choose a top 21, then a top 10, then a top five, and finally announce the first finalist and the winner.

Official Media

The organization has the AXN TV channel as its main partner, to promote and position the pageant. AXN broadcasts its content in Latin America, Asia and Europe. It also uses social networks to publicize the daily activities of the candidates.

The Jury

A couple of weeks ago, the organization announced several Vietnamese and internationally renowned personalities as responsible for choosing the first International Cosmo Queen. So far, it is known that the selection committee includes Paula Shugart, former president of Miss Universe; Pham Quang Vinh, Minister of International Affairs and Ambassador of Vietnam to the USA; Nguyễn Huỳnh Kim Duyên, Miss Supranational Vietnam 2021 and Miss Universe Vietnam 2021; and George Chien, president of KC Global Media.

Slogan and Mission

The pageant's slogan is "Impactful Beauty", and it advocates for the voices and actions of women around the world, helping them to make their aspirations a reality. They hope that their vision and mission will contribute to creating a world of equality, positivity, and unity.

What can we expect from this pageant?

Miss Cosmo is not very different from the most prominent and popular pageants. From this new platform, we can expect the election of a beautiful and elegant queen, with many followers or fans who support and follow her reign. Possibly, we will see Asians dominating the top, due to commercial strategy, and obviously, some Latinas who, thanks to the sash they wear, will make the pageant famous in Latin America.
